IID is an online database for detected and predicted protein-protein interactions across 18 species. The current portal supports interactive protein searches, context and evidence filtering, network visualization, downloadable query results, and static annotated PPI downloads for human and mouse.
IID annotates interactions with evidence class, tissue and developmental context, conservation, directionality, druggability, duration, mutation effects, and protein-complex membership. The portal cites the 2021 Nucleic Acids Research update for the current context-specific interaction and enrichment-analysis features.
